Yannis Rachovitsas on real.gr: Trap artists are bad role models

His name has been associated with the largest operations of multinational cocaine trafficking cartels dismantling from Colombia and other Latin American countries, as well as international heroin networks, that also operated in Greece.
From Karditsa, he was transferred as a young officer to the Drug Prosecution of the Attica Security, where he remained for 20 whole years, during the wild decades of the 80s and 90s.
The retired Lieutenant General and Honorary Deputy Commander of the Hellenic Police, Ioannis Rachovitsas, created a legend around his name. With Serpico’s style and his trademark mustache, not only managed to become a terror for the cartels, but among other things, he arrested Kostas Passaris in Romania, organized the Hellenic Police raid in Zoniana and was the initiator and creator of the DIAS group.
