Formal opening of the P.A.D.A. Institute

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. took place at Fanari, Karditsa, the birthplace of Ioannis Rachovitsas, the official launch of the activities of the P.A.D.A. Institute - Anti-Drug Action, which he founded wanting to continue his work fighting the scourge of drugs. The Institute in question is the first such well-organized effort, both at the Greek and European level, which aims to protect young people from and develop actions against drugs in the context of modern society.
This formal launch of the P.A.D.A. Institute – Anti-drug Action started with the doxology of the Metropolitan Bishop of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersalon, Mr. Timotheos, and took place at the historic High School of the village of Fanari under the auspices of the Municipality of Mouzaki.
This event was honored by the presence of the representatives of the political leadership, the local government and other authorities of Thessaly. Greetings were addressed by the representative of the Minister of Justice, Mr. Tsaras Konstantinos, the Parliament Members of the County Mr. Kotsos Georgios and Mrs. Asimina Skondra, the Regional Governor of Thessaly Mr. Kostas Agorastos, the General Regional Police Director of Thessaly, Mr. Asterios Mantzokas and the Mayor of Mouzaki, Mr. Theofanis Stathis.
