Antonia Tsakali
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Existential Systemic Psychotherapist – P.A.D.A. MemberAntonia Tsakali graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Patras and specialized in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has completed extensive training in Existential Systemic Psychotherapy and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in the MSc Programme in Clinical Mental Health at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Her clinical and scientific work focuses on the mental health of children, adolescents, and their families. Her areas of particular interest include the challenges of adolescence, prevention, and high-risk behaviours, with a focus on substance and alcohol use, addictive behaviours, self-harm, and suicidality.
She is actively involved in the scientific community, presenting her work at national and international conferences, and serves as Vice President of the Hellenic Association for Systemic Therapy.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that behind every child’s or adolescent’s behaviour lies a story that first needs to be heard and understood. For her, prevention brings together scientific knowledge, human presence, meaningful relationships, and social responsibility.
