Rania Georgiadou
Police Officer – Clinical Psychologist | BSc, MSc – P.A.D.A. MemberRania Georgiadou is an active-duty Police Officer and Clinical Psychologist, with academic excellence and multi-level training in mental health. She is a licensed professional and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Hellenic American University), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration, which she also completed with distinction.
She has received training in Cognitive–Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on trauma processing, anxiety regulation, and the enhancement of psychological resilience, as well as in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapeutic model.
Her clinical experience includes a clinical placement at the Psychiatric Clinic of Sismanogleio Hospital, participation in postgraduate training programs for psychiatry residents and mental health professionals, and training in the Clinical Psychopathology Program “Panagiotis Oulis” of the First Department of Psychiatry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has published articles in scientific journals and contributed to the international volume The Influence of Hellenic Philosophy on the Contemporary World (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2019), with a study examining the psychological impact of natural disasters from antiquity to the present day.
Her research and professional interests focus on psychological resilience and trauma processing, both in the general population and in individuals with demanding professional roles, including those serving on the front lines.
