FINLAND: Johanna Kreikkalainen Tzanakaki
Sociologist - Certified Coach – P.A.D.A. MemberIoanna was born in Athens, studied opera where she collaborated with well-known artists and international orchestras, and in 1999 became a permanent music teacher in public education. She later studied and specialized in clinical counselling and psychotherapy and in 2012 migrated to Finland, where she promoted the Greek language and culture to Finnish education. In Finland, Ioanna studied social services and is now accredited to Valvira (Finnish Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health).
She is a global pioneer in the use of voice and singing and their use in social services and has published scientific studies and small books on the use of voice for mental health and empowerment. In 2021 Ioanna was invited in Diaconia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki for a lecture on the use of voice in social services for mental health and well -being. She constantly collaborates with large Finnish organizations and makes well-known the benefits of the therapeutic approaches of the ancient Greek Asclepia for mental health and well-being.
